Breakout! with The Director’s Cut, is an exciting hands on learning experience for students ages 10-14 years.  The Educational package includes Videos, Games, and Curriculum links with lesson plans. Through the Breakout! themes of global activism, students gain skills in all aspects of filmmaking such as research, script writing, including storyboard creation, filming, photography, claymation, photography and editing.  Each participant will receive a copy of their film on a chaptered DVD along with the possibility of seeing their film at an international film festival and on television.

STEP THREE:
Download the activism tool kit from Taking It Global that matches your chosen theme.

STEP FOUR:
What outcome do you want? Fundraising, Making a video? Discuss, inform? March, raise awareness? You can do all or any of these on your Breakout day. Once you’ve organized yourself, send us your proposal with a detailed plan, and we’ll send you the resources you need.
