Breakout! with The Director’s Cut, is an exciting hands on learning experience for students ages 10-14 years. The Educational package includes Videos, Games, and Curriculum links with lesson plans. Through the Breakout! themes of global activism, students gain skills in all aspects of filmmaking such as research, script writing, including storyboard creation, filming, photography, claymation, photography and editing. Each participant will receive a copy of their film on a chaptered DVD along with the possibility of seeing their film at an international film festival and on television.

Do you want your students to become inspired and empowered to change the world? If the answer is YES, then you can organize your very own Breakout Day for your class, your school or your community.
STEP ONE:
Choose from one of the twelve Breakout themes found on our website. You can link each theme to the curriculum.
STEP TWO:
Your students can research your chosen theme, learn how to become activists and be inspired by following the journey of our Breakouters by clicking on the links that are found at the bottom of the page.
STEP THREE:
Download the activism tool kit relevant to your theme.
STEP FOUR:
Plan your Breakout! Day and we can help you by sending you resources and videos. You can have debates and discussions, make a video, or even create a play. We encourage all forms of expression and creativity!
Once you’ve organized yourself, send us your proposal with a detailed plan, and we’ll send you the resources you need.
